- When it's time to pray...SHE BOWS HER HEAD AND CLASPS HER HANDS TOGETHER. I was floored. I guess I'm doing something right.
- Says "Yessssssss" - and it's just like that with all of the sssss on the end. I don't think she know's the difference between yes and no but when I ask her a question she'll respond with a yessssssss.
- Her hair is finally growing in the back. I can actually do something with it. Today she's sporting 6 little ponytails. I finally put some satin on her car seat to help with it.
- She LOVES (and love is an under statement) Happy Birthday Elmo. She hugs and kisses him and dances when he sings Happy Birthday. It's too cute.
- She's now front face in her car seat and I think she loves the view. The first time she rode she kept moving her head to look out of the front mirror. I don't like having to actually turn around to see her though so I'm going to see if there's a mirror that hooks on to the rearview mirror.
- She's still not a full time walker but she's very confident and DETERMINED. If she falls she'll get right back up and try again. She loves for me to praise her so you know she gets lots of it.
- She loves to "comb" or "brush" my hair. Her version is more like hitting me in the head with the comb/brush. I have to watch her with the comb though because she gets it tangled in my hair.
- She's facinated by the lotion bottle. She can't quite figure out how I can get lotion out and she can't. The day she figures out the pump I'm in trouble.
- She's picked up hitting. A couple of times I took something away from her and she hit me. The first time I thought it was a fluke the second time I knew it wasn't and told her sternly "no, hitting hurts". I spoke to Ms. Kathy about it and she said that another little boy has a hitting problem. I told her I didn't like it and didn't want Brooklynn picking up that habit and DO NOT want her being hit by another child.
- She's getting more interested in picture books. I try to get books with really vibrant colors and she seems to love them. I actually think she knows what a duck is too. She always picks him out when I ask which one is the duck. Everything else is hit or miss.
- She's not really into whole milk too much. She can take it or leave it. I keep offering it but I'm going to have to check into this. She still nurses at night but I think she should have more milk than what she's drinking. She's not a big juice drinker either. She loves water though.
