Happy 11 months Baby Girl

Happy 11 Months Brooklynn!!!!

It seems like I was just pregnant! Now my baby will be a year old next month. All is well in our world. Brooklynn is still doing pretty good at the daycare. Yesterday, she was crying when I picked her up. She wanted to be held. Ms. Phyllis (another caretaker) said she would pick her up but couldn't continuously hold her. I understand and sometimes have that problem at home. When I picked her up she was fine. She'd only taken about an hour nap so she was a little whiny when we got home. I forgot to ask how she did with the story teller yesterday (A retired teacher comes every Wednesday). I'll ask this evening. I could tell they played in the sand yesterday because she had some in her shoes. I like that they go outside everyday. Today they are going on a wagon ride. I think she'll like that.

Last night I tried starting Operation GYAOMB (Get Yo Azz Outta my Bed). I wanted to make sure she was nice and full so I gave her some yogurt before bed. I rocked Brooklynn to sleep in her room, put her in her crib and turned out the light. All seemed well at first. I ended falling asleep. A couple of hours later I was awakened by her crying. The monitor always amplifies it so it kind of scared me. She wasn't having any parts of the crib after that. That's ok...I'm going to try again tonight. I'm determined to get her out of my bed. At first it wasn't a big deal but she rolls around so much now that I only get a little sliver of the bed. I wake up with both neck and back pain because of her. I look over and she's sprawled out in the middle of my bed sound asleep. It's time for lil mama to go. I'm officially no longer pumping. It feels funny not to have to carry that bag to work. The other morning I stood outside of the car because I thought I was forgetting something. No diaper bag, no pump...just me and the baby! It's nice. I haven't really had any problems either. I'm pretty full in the evenings when I get home but Brooklynn wants to nurse anyway so that relieves the pressure.
