Hey, Doll Baby it's Mommy

I know it's been a while since I've wrote you. I'm just really busy these days but know that you are constantly on my mind. Doll baby, you are growing up right before my eyes. I've never wanted time to slow down as much as I do now. I cherish every single moment that I have with you. You truly make my day. Your laughs, giggles and funny little faces truly light up my life. You've come into this world and captured all of our hearts. Brooklynn, your family loves you so much. Know that it is a blessing to have the family that you have. Always cherish them...they are an extra special group of people.

You amaze me everyday. It seems like you are always learning something new. It's a delight to experience old things through your new eyes. It gives me a different perspective on life. You've changed me for the better. You are rolling over now! Sunday, you rolled like you've been doing it for months. You've also turned into a busy body. I often say you have octopus arms because you go from pulling my hair to snatching off my glasses or earrings in a matter of seconds. You have a new funny face you've started making too and it cracks us up every time you do it. You also scoot backwards. You can't get the hang of going forward yet but that's ok...you will soon. Oh, we've been working on Yay (clapping) and bye bye and you sometimes get them mixed up. Even when you mix them up it's always fun to see you trying. Your face lights up and you sometimes will hold our hands in ancipation of the clap. You love to be entertained but I also think you love to entertain us.

There are many many more things that you've learned or do on a daily basis. Believe me I could write a novel about them. You are truly my favorite topic of conversation. People better get ready and brace themselves when they ask about you because I always have a story. I'm a little better than Aunt Vonnie and Granny though. They both carry around a photo album of you everywhere they go. They'll whip it out on folks in a heart beat.

I've already started planning your birthday party. I'm having so much fun finding ideas. I'm so excited and I think your Aunt Vonnie is getting excited too. Some people think your Mommy is insane for planning a big 1st birthday party. Everyday I have with you is a blessing so if I could celebrate and throw a party for you everyday I would. Little girl, you rock my world.
