BARACK the VOTE!!!

Tuesday was voting day here in Ohio. Mommy really wanted me to go to the voting booth. She says that this is a really important time in American politics and she wanted me to be a part of the history making. We have a really good chance of a black man becoming the President of the United States. Mommy says that she never thought she would see this happen in her lifetime. She wants me to be able to see some little black girls running around on the White House lawn...some little girls that look like me. Aunt Vonnie says maybe they'll even have a little dog named Junebug. She's so funny. Mommy believes that this is the epitome of Dreaming Big (Mommy has this on my nursery wall) and knowing that I can accomplish anything. I didn't go with Mommy but I did go with Aunt Vonnie. Aunt Vonnie made sure I got a sticker too. Mommy says she'll put the sticker in my keep sake box.
