I LOVE rice cereal!!!!!

Mommy's been debating giving me some cereal. All of my Auntie's kept telling her to do it. All of Mommy's research said to wait until I was at least 4 months. Well, I figured I'd give Mommy a sign that I was ready by watching her eat. Tonight, Mommy was eating a hamburger and I stared intently at it and started licking my lips. Mommy knew then that it was time. She whipped up a bowl of cereal using the directions on the box for a first time eater. Mommy used her Magic milk to make the cereal. I saw Mommy taste it and heard her tell Aunt Vonnie on the phone that it tasted like bland Cream of Wheat. I wasn't sure what Cream of Wheat tasted like but I was pretty sure I wanted to taste what was in that bowl. The directions she followed made the cereal really soupy. She sat me on the dining room table in my Bumbo seat and she sat in front of me. She gave me the first taste and I couldn't quite figure out how to keep the stuff in my mouth. I did like the taste though but it was almost like I was drinking my Magic Milk off of a spoon. After a couple more tries of this I started getting excited and making a mess. I wanted more but Mommy just wasn't moving fast enough. Mommy then decided that the cereal wasn't thick enough so she added more to the bowl. She gave it to me and I LOVED it. I couldn't get enough of it. I kept looking at the bowl. I held on to Mommy's hand so that it wouldn't go too far away from my mouth. I didn't know there were other foods out there that tasted as good as Mommy's Magic Milk. I can't wait to try something else. Mommy already says I'm chunky...she'd better watch out now!
