My first Thanksgiving

My first Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. We had a sleep over at Aunt Vonnie's house and I got to sleep in the big bed. Mommy was a little scared to let me sleep without her but I didn't see what all the hoopla was about. I took a bath in Aunt Vonnie's sink and they put Grandma's wig on me. It was funny. I like playing dress up.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I pee pee'd on Aunt Vonnie's bed. She didn't mind though.

I kept hearing everyone talk about all this food we were supposed to be having for dinner so I was excited. I must have slept right through dinner because when I woke up it looked like everyone was finished eating. I heard Mommy in the kitchen saying something about making me some mashed potatoes so I was happy I didn't miss out. She brings this bowl of white stuff to me and tries to get me to eat it. That stuff was nasty. To top it off everyone was staring at me and Aunt Vonnie was holding my hands. This was not fun at all. Aunt Netta was snapping pictures. I just couldn't understand it. If this (mashed potatoes) is what Thanksgiving dinner consists of...I'm not looking forward to next year.
